10 Questions To Manifest The Impossible

Coach Exercises Wishing

by Bruce 25/11/06

The poet laureate Robert Southey, when he wasn’t quilling epic poems about Joan of Arc, Robespierre or Nelson, said this: “To a resolute mind, wishing to do is the first step toward doing. But if we do not wish to do a thing it becomes impossible.” Isn't that fantastic?

Our seeing with eyes that can see the impossible might just be the step of faith needed to begin the journey towards its manifestation. There are big wishes hidden behind our jaded inner editors that have learned over the years that so many things are impossible. As a life coach, my job is to help you mute the editor for long enough to hear your biggest, most sparkly wishes. It is about what and where at the beginning, not how. Tackling how is a great thing to do with the help of a life coach and I’m not saying that it is easy.

Firstly, any journey needs a destination. Secondly, it is better to be going for the right destination, however big or impossible it may seem; you want what you want whether you think you can get to it or not. Thirdly, be careful! The biggest wishes are hiding behind all sorts of fears, doubts and comfort zone issues.

Here are my 10 favourite wishing questions which start off easy and get progressively more challenging.

You can leave your answers to any of these questions below or even suggest one of your own. Soon I am intending to post some wishing exercises that are designed to go a little further with the process and get past your safety devices.

And now for your comments:
