If you ever catch yourself during the day feeling a bit fed-up (I sometimes hear myself making those exhalation-of-air noises associated with the feeling) then the time is ripe to ask yourself one of the following questions.
I’m working on a re-write of the happiness interventions for tonight’s Happiness For Life Session which introduces the subject of happiness in the present moment through pleasure and flow. Here are some questions to ask yourself that should illicit a small step, just for today. An action for the present moment to absorb you.
First you need to stop and centre yourself and tap into that inner voice of inspiration and ask one of the following questions:
- What could I do now that would make me go wow?
- What do I want to do next, just for me?
- By the end of today I would like to feel satisfied because I’d spent some time doing ... what?
- What would I do now if I was on holiday rules?
