Hidden Gems. Give an old post a chance:
A small team from embody are currently working on a foodlife project (combining culinary writing with life coaching), writing a booklet called Heavenly Recipes For Hope. This is one part of the content that we've created for the Hope08 project running nationally this year. The book has given us an opportunity to combine some food photography with some original concepts exploring positive psychology and soul hope. Have a look at some of the photos used.
This is the cover image.
And some of the photos from the contents.
Roasted veg to illustrate a straight-from-the-allotment story.
I’ve wanted to take this shot for a while now. Our freezer is full of frozen blackberries from the garden which we use in porridge and I love the way that they grow frost before thawing out fully.
Sara (the food part of foodlife) made up these individual Christmas puddings on the same day we were doing the roasted vedge shoot. You can just see them in the back of the photo above.
This was a more recent photo from a visit to Jamie Oliver’s 15 in Cornwall for a wedding.
The book is due out shortly.
And now for your comments:
vedge? do you mean veg?
Do you know, I think I did. Thank you.
soooo looking forward to this book,
esp the pictures,
and the recipes,
er… and the hope
