Coach Life Coaching Happiness

Leadership and Life Coaching have been a core element of embody's work for four years now. That includes one-on-one coaching but also involves product development, writing, group work and organisational development. The classic coaching work incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy and positive psychology. That combination is developing into the exciting field of Quality of Life Coaching.

The photo above, taken when I was coaching on The Big Stretch in N.Spain, illustrates my favourite metaphor for a coaching programme. We stand together surrounded by mountains and this is your moment to pause and dream dreams and wish the biggest wish. We choose the mountain peak which represents for you where you’d most like to be in a few years time – your long term aim. Then our attention moves to an intermediate point, the base camp, some months away which represents your medium term goal (the practical subject for a life coaching programme). When that is done our attention goes to the first step – your short term actions which will take you step by step to your biggest wish.

Working with someone else, the guide who know the mountains well can help when the going gets tough; when confidence or motivation is low. And I can also be there to celebrate with you those moments of high achievement and growth. Get in touch to see if we would work well together. Shortly the ‘contact’ link above will be live. Until then please leave a comment.

And now for your comments:

I would love to do something like this but am 58 and full of fears!I also seem totally incapable of being able to identify what it is I really want in life or where I want to be. Without that knowledge I cant possibly get there or anywhere near!!! Is this something that you could help me with?

Bruce, I like the sound of this endeavour. I have never had any such support so I would appreciate any help I can get now, especially at this point in my life’s journey. Please keep me posted with future updates. Thanks.

This sounds extremely exciting. I would love to get a hold of my life instead of waiting for time to fix my life.
