Many life coaches use this wheel exercise as a brief snapshot of your life. It can be useful to help you highlight where things might not be in balance for you. Do remember, though, that to increase happiness or wellbeing in your life you have two possible strategies. You can work on the weak areas that are causing you problems but reducing unhappiness is not the same as creating more happiness. So the second strategy is to work on areas where things are going well. Take a score of eight up to ten for example.

Great resource!
I found it a simple but very effective resource that clearly mapped areas that need attention. It also focused on what was good not just the negative aspects.
I found the visual nature of this graphic really helpful - I could see the imbalance really clearly! The comments in the report were really useful too.
Thank you for your feedback. One good question to ask yourself is: what kind of ride would this wheel give if it was on a car or bike? I’m glad the comments are useful too.
I love your style. Would you consider making this and some of your other tools an embeddable graphic for use on my site that would link back here?
Great Tool. The analysis was simple, but insightful. Would be great to be able to print/save the picture and report to see how one develops over time.
I use this resource all the time in my coaching practice.
Thank you for the quick update on where I am.
Did you write the software youself for input on your website?
Thanks for your comments.
Rebekah, I would consider that. I’ll put it on my to-do list and find out what the right code would be to copy and paste.
Niall, at the moment you can copy the text to your own document or print the page out but I know what you mean and I’ll see what I can do.
Samantha, yes I write it myself but also create resources for others.
I found your site via a link on rejesus.com, i love the visual nature of the wheel, and it consolidated what I am beginning to realise about myself. Thank you so much. I really do need to find myself
My only problem is in the “social life” part. I recently started going to the gym otherwise that would have been another trouble area.
Bruce, thank you for making available this resource. The visual display was significant. I found the supporting report useful too. I’d be interested to take up your offer of further exploration and/or undertake a coaching programme.
Wow, this chart is so complete. It’s so simple, just a short glance showed me that my life is far from balanced!
bruce, i must say, THIS IS SIMPLY AMAZING. I just realised what i was doing and more importantly what i was not. I must tell you, that this wheel probably changed my life completely. Thanks.
It’s turn up my live.
I can setup all things in their places. So many sanks to you!
