  How it can help.

  A unique relationship.
Making changes to your life can be a real challenge as high levels of commitment are required. You could experience anxiety as you step from your comfort zone. Doing this with an experienced and supportive professional can make all the difference. A life coach can offer the impartial, confidential, positive regard rarely found in other relationships. Your desires and ambitions will be taken seriously and non-judgementally and each session will be time in the week focused wholly on you and your progress.

Using more of our resources.
We often have a discrepancy between our desires for our life and our supportive value or attitude systems. For example you might focus, like we do at new year, on giving something up, but has working simply at a behavioral level worked for you? I will help you investigate the next level down - your attitudes, core beliefs and values. Changing these can make positive changes to your behavior and habits much easier.

  Different inside out.
At the end of the coaching process you might even feel super-powered positive. When you know you took on a challenge, turned a dream into reality and did it under your own strength you will be different for the rest of your life. Quite often other people will spot changes in you before you do. And you can always come back for more another time.

It actually works.
Sharing your journey with someone else gets over the motivation problems associated with self-help books and short courses. After the initial buzz from a new idea or insight the realities of life can make sustaining change difficult. The longer term aspect of the coaching relationship together with the accountability and total commitment given by both client and coach will address this issue.
